St Katherine's Hall

Founded in 1231 by Bishop Hugh Foliot, the complex was established as St Katherine’s Hospital, a place of sanctuary and care for the poor, the sick, pilgrims, and travellers.Over the centuries, the site has evolved while retaining its deep spiritual and communal roots. The Hall and Chapel form a Grade II* listed building recognized for its architectural and historical importance. The Chapel remains active in the parish of St Michael’s Ledbury, under the Diocese of Hereford.
