I have also helped lead a variety of charities, was a school governor and served on Elim's management Board. I was trained and served for many years as a Lay Reader in The Birmingham Diocese and served on PCC's. I was the lay leader of the Elim Church in Ledbury for several years. I am the Chair of Trustees for LEAF.

Geoff Rutherford
Having worked in primary education for over 40 years both as a class teacher and a headteacher I have a keen interest in seeing children flourish and am excited at the prospect of being able to support LEAF as it works with the young people in the town. Away from school I have led the Baptist church for nearly 20 years and am delighted that this has afforded me the opportunity to serve as an ex-officio trustee.
Rev. Joe Simons
I work as Mission Enabler within the Diocese of Hereford with a remit to identify, develop and grow the links between church and society and live out our faith within the communities we serve. We wish to become active members of these communities where we demonstrate through action and practical acts of love, who we are and what we believe as followers of Christ.
The other part of my life is as priest in charge of several churches in the northern half of the diocese.
My earlier life, prior to ministry, was in retail property leading a team in new store acquisitions and management of sites.
I love the work that LEAF does especially its desire to see all flourish within the community it serves, and I look forward to helping and supporting them in the future.
In my spare time I enjoy cricket (watching now not playing) and walking our three dogs, although sometimes it feels as though they are walking us.
Rev. Keith Hilton-Turvey
Keith is the rector of St Michaels and All Angels in Ledbury.
He is a lover and accidental collector of all kinds of eccentric bits of information. Keith moved from Cricklewood with his wife Wendy. They met and married in Worcester, they have two adult children. Before ordination Keith worked in distribution and logistics, utilities and IT. Both he and Wendy enjoy Ledbury and the surrounding countryside.
Janet Hopkins
I belong to the Catholic church and I'm married with three children and 8 grandchildren. My focus has always been on the emotional wellbeing of both adults and children, especially the latter.

After completeing a degree in Chemistry I taught for 32 years in all types of Secondary schools across the whole social spectrum. I held both academic and pastoral posts during my career.

I have volunteered with Marriage Care, a Catholic relationship organisation, for over 35 years. This work has taken me into schools. prisons and parishes on the education work they undertake. I have counselled couples with marital problems for 20 years in Herefordshire, simultaneously preparing couples who are engaged to be married. I work on the latter, meeting couples from all parts of the UK online as they prepare for their marriage.

I am delighted to have the opportunity to be part of LEAF

I have worked in Ledbury for the last 20 years and am passionate about securing good outcomes for the children of Ledbury alongside making sure they become the best versions of themselves they can be. It is a privilege to be able to work in Ledbury with LEAF and be part of an organisation that has such strong values and such a wonderful team. In my spare time (there's not much of it!)
